Everything in a deep clean, taken further
A Showroom Detail starts where the Deep Clean finishes, then adds the stages that lift a car from clean to genuinely showroom ready. More time on the paint, a finer interior finish, and a ceramic coating applied so the result lasts.
Wash, clay, enhance, coat
- Everything in the Deep Clean exterior, as the starting point
- Clay bar treatment to pull bonded contaminants out of the paint
- Single stage machine polish to lift gloss and remove light marring
- A ceramic coating on the fresh paint for lasting gloss and easier washing
- Wheels deep cleaned face and barrel, then sealed
- Glass sealed, exhaust tips polished, all trim and rubbers dressed
Steam, deep clean, protect
- Everything in the Deep Clean interior, taken to a finer standard
- Full steam clean across surfaces, vents and tight detail areas
- Leather deep cleaned and conditioned to a soft factory finish
- Fabric and carpet shampooed and extracted, not just vacuumed
- Plastics and trim dressed to a natural, non greasy look
- Fabric or leather protection applied to help it stay this way
How a Showroom Detail works, step by step
A Showroom Detail is our most thorough package, a full day's work that takes the car well beyond a clean. Here's how it runs.
Assessment
I inspect the paint under natural and LED light, checking swirls, marring and contamination, so the plan fits your car rather than a fixed script.
Wheels & pre wash
The wheels, arches and shuts are cleaned down first, then a pre wash is applied to soften and lift the loose dirt before any contact with the paint.
Safe wash & full decontamination
A two bucket hand wash, then iron fallout remover, tar remover and a clay bar to strip out every bonded contaminant the wash can't.
Enhancement polish
A single stage machine enhancement polish to lift the gloss, remove light swirls and bring real depth back to the colour.
Engine bay clean & dressed
The engine bay is cleaned down and the plastics dressed, so it's brought up to the same standard as everything else.
Full interior detail
The inside is vacuumed throughout and steam cleaned, with the surfaces, glass, seats and trim all cleaned and dressed to match the outside.
Ceramic based protection
The freshened finish is sealed with a ceramic protective coating, so it stays glossy and far easier to keep clean between visits.
Final inspection
A panel by panel check under LED lighting before handover, and you see the car up close before it's signed off.

New car prep, done before the first drive
A new car does not arrive perfect. Dealer prep glaze hides swirls, the paint has no real protection, and the interior is unprotected from day one. A Showroom Detail sorts all of it before you have chance to put the first mark on it.
Dealer glaze removed
That just collected shine is often a temporary glaze hiding handling marks. We strip it back and reveal the true paint.
Factory paint enhanced and ceramic protected
A light machine polish lifts the gloss, then a ceramic protective coating goes on, so the finish beads water and shrugs off Manchester weather.
Interior protected from day one
Leather and fabric treated before the coffee spills and the kids get in, so the inside stays as new as the outside.
Priced by size, agreed up front
A Showroom Detail is a full day of work, so the price reflects the time and the ceramic coating that goes on. You get a fixed quote before we arrive, with nothing added on the day.
Small to medium
The full multi-stage detail for most cars. Around 7 to 8 hours on site, with the ceramic protective coating included.

Showroom detail questions, answered
The questions we get most. If yours isn't here, drop us a message and we'll come back same day.
How much does a showroom detail cost in Manchester?
A Showroom Detail starts at £499 for small to medium cars (hatchbacks, saloons, smaller SUVs) and £549 for large or XL vehicles (estates, full-size SUVs, 7-seaters). That’s a fixed all in price including the machine polish and ceramic protective coating, agreed before we arrive.
How long does a showroom detail take?
Around 7 to 8 hours on site, so it’s a full day booking. The time goes into the multi stage wash, clay, machine polish, ceramic protection and the premium interior. We work to a finish standard rather than a clock, so the car is ready when it’s right.
I've just bought a new car, what do I actually need?
A Showroom Detail is the ideal new car booking. A new car arrives with a temporary dealer glaze hiding handling marks, no real paint protection, and an unprotected interior. We strip the glaze, enhance and ceramic protect the factory paint, and treat the leather or fabric from day one, so the car stays as new as the day you collected it.
What's the difference between a Deep Clean and a Showroom Detail?
A Deep Clean is a thorough reset, around four hours, that gets the car genuinely clean inside and out. A Showroom Detail builds on that with a clay treatment, a machine polish to enhance the gloss, a ceramic protective coating, and a finer interior finish. It’s the step up for a special car, a new car, or one you want looking its absolute best.
Is a showroom detail the same as paint correction?
No. Both finish with a ceramic-based protective coating, so the difference is the paint work underneath. A Showroom Detail includes a single stage machine polish that enhances gloss and clears light marring. Paint correction is dedicated defect removal for deeper swirls and scratches, taking out far more before the coating goes on. If you’re not sure which your car needs, send a few photos and we’ll tell you honestly.
How long does the ceramic protection last?
The ceramic-based protective coating applied in a Showroom Detail keeps the paint slick and beading water for far longer than a traditional wax, and how long it holds up depends on how the car is used, washed and stored. To keep the finish at its best year-round, the maintenance plan tops up the protection between full details.
Can you do a showroom detail on an older or neglected car?
Absolutely, and it’s where the results are often most dramatic. On an older car the clay, polish and protection stages bring back gloss that’s been hidden under years of bonded contamination and dullness. If the paint is heavily defected we’ll be honest about whether paint correction would serve you better, but most cars come up beautifully.
Do you need water and electricity at my address?
No. The van carries its own water with two stage filtration and a generator for power. An outside tap and a plug socket help where available and we’ll use them, but they’re not required. We just need room to work around the car safely for the day.
