Car valeting and detailing prices, by service
Each service has two prices, one for small to medium cars and one for large or XL, so the figure you book is the figure you pay on the day.

If the car hasn't had a proper clean in the last three months, or there are stains or more than a light dusting of pet hair, it needs the Deep Clean rather than the Refresh, and I'll tell you if that's the case before anything is booked.
The Two Stage is only booked once I've checked your paint actually needs it rather than the Single Stage, and if a scratch is too deep to polish out I'll say so rather than take the job. The Maintenance Membership starts after a Deep Clean or a Showroom Detail with me and I set each one up personally, so get in touch for that one rather than booking it online.

Every service has two prices because a seven seater simply takes longer to do properly than a hatchback. This is how I place a car.
The smaller band

Add on prices
Add ons cost the same whatever the size of the car, and you pick them inside the booking for the main service.

A coating only goes onto corrected paint, because it locks in whatever is underneath it. Added to a Single Stage, that comes to £399 for a small to medium car or £449 for a large or XL with the 1 Year, £450 or £500 with the 3 Year, and £549 or £599 with the 5 Year. On a Two Stage it's £648 or £748 with the 1 Year, £699 or £799 with the 3 Year, and £798 or £898 with the 5 Year.
The Deep Clean, the Showroom Detail and both Paint Corrections already include a protective sealant that lasts around six months and needs no curing time, so a coating is a choice for longer protection rather than something the car needs.
Jobs I price in person
Some jobs can't be priced fairly from a description, because what reads as a small stain can turn out to have soaked right through to the foam. Spills, staining, sick, urine, mould, smoke damage and water ingress all sit in that group, along with headlights that have gone milky or heavily oxidised, fog lights and rear clusters. What the price covers
- No travel charge anywhere in Greater Manchester or around Wilmslow.
- Nothing needed from you except somewhere to park, since the van carries its own water, generator power and LED inspection lighting.
- A £50 deposit secures the booking and comes off the total. It isn't refundable, but it carries over if you rearrange with at least 24 hours' notice.
- The balance is paid on completion, by bank transfer, card or cash.
Why a detail costs more than a car wash valet
A valet at a hand car wash is a quick wash and a hoover, usually done in under an hour. My Deep Clean takes around four: a pre wash before anything touches the paint, a two bucket hand wash, iron and tar removal, the wheels cleaned face and barrel, the engine bay where access allows, then steam on the seats and carpets and a sealant on the paint that keeps it easier to wash for the next six months. You're paying for that time, for the kit that comes in the van and for the same pair of hands on every car, which is how I can hand it back better than it left the showroom.

How much is a full valet in Manchester?
With me, a full valet inside and out is either the Refresh at £130 or £150, or the Deep Clean at £195 or £225. The Refresh suits a car that’s had a proper clean in the last three months or so, while the Deep Clean is the one for a car that’s overdue, stained or carrying pet hair.
How much does car detailing cost in Manchester?
A Showroom Detail is £395 for a small to medium car or £445 for a large or XL, and takes most of a day. Paint correction is £300 or £350 for a Single Stage and £549 or £649 for a Two Stage.
Do you do a mini valet?
Not as a separate service. The Refresh is my lightest clean, and at around two hours it covers a lot more than a mini valet, with a protective sealant on the paint included.
Do you charge for travel?
No. The price is the same whether you’re in Mossley, where I’m based, or over in Sale, Urmston or Wilmslow.
How do I know which price band my car is in?
Use the guide above, or put the make and model in the quote form and I’ll place it for you. As a rule, estates, 7 seaters and SUVs from Qashqai size upwards are large or XL, and hatchbacks, saloons and small crossovers are small to medium.
Can I pay on the day?
Yes. A £50 deposit secures the slot and comes off the total, then the balance is paid when I’ve finished, by bank transfer, card or cash.
Do you offer discounts?
No. The prices are fixed so everyone pays the same for the same work, and I’d rather spend the time on your car than haggling over the price.
