A ceramic coating is a liquid polymer that bonds chemically to the clear coat on your paint and cures into a hard, glass like layer. Once it has hardened it becomes a semi permanent shell that sits on top of the paint and takes the daily wear the paint would otherwise take, while adding a depth of gloss you cannot get from a wax.
Wax and sealant sit loosely on the surface and wash away within weeks, so you are back to bare, unprotected paint before you know it. A coating is measured in years, not washes. It holds a slick, hydrophobic surface that sheds water and dirt, so the car stays cleaner between washes and the washes themselves are quicker and safer on the paint.
It is not a force field, and we will always be straight with you about that. A coating will not stop a stone chip or a deep key scratch. What it does is guard against the everyday things that dull paint over time, UV fade, bird lime, road salt, fallout and light wash marring, and keep the finish looking its best for years.

A pre wash and hand wash, wheels and arches cleaned, then an iron fallout remover and a clay treatment to pull the bonded contaminants out of the paint that a normal wash leaves behind. The surface has to be genuinely clean before anything goes on it.
