The Refresh is a proper valet inside and out for a car that’s been looked after. It takes around two hours on your driveway and costs £130 for a small or medium car or £150 for a large one, and I bring my own water and power, so all you need to find is somewhere to park.

What's included in a Refresh valet
The clean most cars need most of the time: the whole car washed, vacuumed and wiped down properly, without the heavy decontamination and steam work of a Deep Clean. It's the same careful method I use on every car, so nothing is rushed and nothing is scratched by a dirty sponge.

What a Refresh doesn't cover
The Refresh is a maintenance clean for a car that's been kept on top of, so a few things are left for the bigger jobs:
- Stains in the seats, carpets or roof lining, and ground in dirt
- Steam cleaning or shampooing of the seats and carpets
- Deep cleaning and conditioning of leather
- More than a light dusting of pet hair
- Chemical decontamination of the paint, the wheel barrels or the engine bay
- Swirls, scratches or dull paint, which need Paint Correction
- Spills, sick, mould or smoke damage, which I price once I've seen the car
Too dirty for a Refresh? If the car hasn't had a proper clean in the last few months, it needs a Deep Clean first, and a Refresh will keep it looking that way afterwards. Not sure which one it needs? Get in touch and I'll tell you honestly.
Is a Refresh right for your car?
A Refresh suits a car that's been looked after: one that has had a proper clean in the last few months, has no more than a light dusting of pet hair and has no stains to lift. It's the easy way to keep a car feeling good without paying for a deep clean every time.
If the car is further gone than that, with dirt ground into the seats, heavy dog hair or marks in the carpet, a Refresh won't get it where you want it, and the Deep Clean is the right call. If it's only the inside that needs the work, the Interior Deep Clean covers that on its own. If I arrive and the car needs more than a Refresh can do, I'll tell you before I start. You can then upgrade to a Deep Clean, or keep the Refresh at the Refresh price knowing some things won't come out, and nothing is added to the price unless you agree to it first.

How a Refresh valet works, step by step
The same careful order every time, so nothing gets rushed or missed.
A pre wash, then a safe hand wash
The car is pre washed first to lift the loose dirt before anything touches the paint, then washed by hand with the two bucket method and never a sponge, door shuts included, so it comes up clean without picking up new swirls.
Wheels, tyres and arches
The wheels, tyres and arches are cleaned, and any tar picked up from the road is taken off the paintwork.
Protection and glass
A protective sealant goes on the paint so it beads water and stays easier to wash, the tyres and arches are dressed, and the exterior glass is cleaned.
Inside, cleaned out
Rubbish out, mats out, and a full vacuum top to bottom. The mats are cleaned before they go back in.
Surfaces, glass and fragrance
The dashboard, console and door cards are cleaned and refreshed, the inside of the glass is cleaned, and a fragrance finishes it off before a last look over everything.

Book now →Pet hair: a light dusting is fine on a Refresh. Where there's a genuine amount of it, the pet hair removal add on with the Interior Deep Clean or the Deep Clean is the right job. Spills, sick, mould or smoke damage are priced once I've seen the car, because no two are the same.
Too dirty for a Refresh? If the car has stains, heavy pet hair or ground in dirt, or hasn't had a proper clean in the last few months, it needs the full Deep Clean: around four hours inside and out, at £195 for a small or medium car or £225 for a large one.

How much is a Refresh valet?
The Refresh is £130 for a small or medium car and £150 for a large or XL vehicle. The price is fixed for the size of car and agreed before I arrive, with no VAT on top and no travel charge anywhere in Greater Manchester.
What is the difference between a Refresh and a Deep Clean?
A Refresh is a thorough whole car clean for a car that’s been looked after, and it takes around two hours. A Deep Clean takes around four and goes much further: the paint is chemically decontaminated, the seats and carpets are steam cleaned, the engine bay is cleaned and the wheels are done face and barrel. If your car hasn’t had a proper clean for a while, the Deep Clean is the one to book.
How long does a Refresh take?
Around two hours on site for most cars. A large vehicle takes a little longer, and I’ll give you a rough idea when I quote.
What if my car needs more than a Refresh?
I’ll tell you honestly before I start, not after, and then it’s your choice. You can upgrade to a Deep Clean at the Deep Clean price, on the day if the diary allows or on another date, or you can keep the Refresh at the Refresh price, done to the Refresh standard, accepting that things like stains, ground in dirt or heavy pet hair won’t come out. Nothing is added to the price unless you agree to it first.
Do you need water or electricity from me?
No. The van carries its own filtered water and a generator for power, so you don’t need to provide anything. All I need is somewhere to park the van beside the car and room to work all the way round it.
Which areas do you cover?
The whole of Greater Manchester, including Stockport, Oldham, Rochdale, Bury, Ashton-under-Lyne, Sale and Hyde, plus the Cheshire edge around Wilmslow. A driveway is ideal, a quiet street is fine, and a workplace car park works where the rules allow it.
